The Fabulous Front Office Staff of Artistic Dental

Wednesday, April 27^th is Administrative Professionals Day – a day that celebrates the hard work and dedication of executive admins and receptionists across offices everywhere. At Artistic Dental our front office team serve as our administrative backbone and essentially make sure our office runs smoothly and patients are taken care of every day.

In honor of Administrative Professionals Day, we wanted to take the opportunity to show our gratitude and shed some light on just how much our front office does and some of the individuals that make it all work: Mary, Dominique, Elisia, Ashley, and Carletta:

Mary has worked with Dr. Dougherty for more than a decade. As our Office Manager, she is keeping it all running – working with the dentists, staff, patients and our many vendors.

Elisia joined our team in March 2014. Much of her day is spent on the phone scheduling patient appointments, verifying insurance and making sure dental claims are process and paid.

Dominique is one of the newest employees, and she focuses primarily on files and forms related to patient visits. Dominique is also one of our star receptionists, devoting a lot of her time to patient calls.

Ashley hasn’t worked at the front for very long, but she’s definitely gotten in to the daily groove. Her typical schedule includes starting with a staff meeting to ensure everyone is on the same page, taking messages from clients and visitors, and generally answering any patient questions about billing, as well as greeting and making patients feel comfortable.

Carletta spends much of her time on the phone, and working through the billing process with various insurance agencies. She sees herself as a true patient advocate – and will fight to have the insurance pay their fair share.

What’s your favorite part about coming to work for Artistic Dental?

·      Mary: Working with such great people and helping our patients!

·      Dominique: I’ve always been interested in billing, and learning more about health – so to be able to combine the two is probably my favorite aspect of the job.

·      Elisia: I like that we can make our patients smile!

·      Ashley: Coffee in the morning! But really – I haven’t been in the front very long, but I love chatting and getting to know all of our patients

·      Carletta: Getting away from home (laughs) – no, honestly, I love getting here and seeing everyone, especially patients you haven’t seen in awhile.
